A charming trio of early 20th-century dressing table accessories, comprising two pairs of vintage glove stretchers and a hand-carved bone shoe horn featuring an Egyptian Revival profile. These practical yet decorative items were once everyday essentials, used for easing on gloves and shoes while preserving shape and fit.
The stretchers include one pair in warm polished wood and one in dark ebonised wood, each constructed with small metal pivot pins and functioning smoothly. The shoe horn is made from carved bone (not ivory, permitted on Etsy), with incised detailing characteristic of early 20th-century tourist and revival work.
A lovely grouped display for a dressing room, or useful additions for collectors of period fashion accessories.
