Original Ronson Varaflame table lighter, manufactured in the USA and dating to the mid 20th century. This is a substantial, well-made example with a gold-tone metal body, raised on integral feet, and fitted with the Varaflame gas ignition system.
The underside is clearly stamped “Varaflame – Made in U.S.A.” along with Ronson patent and design markings. The lighter is presented in its original Ronson box, with printed interior and satin lining, which adds to its collectability.
Designed as a table or desk lighter, this model reflects the restrained, functional styling associated with mid-century American smoking accessories and would suit a study, bar, or display alongside other period objects.
