A classic S.T. Dupont Ligne 2 luxury lighter, crafted in France with elegant black Chinese lacquer panels, gold-plated finish and the unmistakable opening 'ping' for which Dupont lighters are renowned.
Finished in Dupont's traditional Laque de Chine (Chinese lacquer), this example has developed a lovely mellow patina from use whilst retaining its sophisticated appearance.
The lighter opens with the characteristic clear Dupont ring and the mechanism functions smoothly. It will require a new flint and fresh gas before use. For shipping purposes the lighter will be supplied completely empty of fuel.

Good vintage condition.
There are several small nicks, light dents and surface marks from normal use, most notably around the edges and corners, as shown in the photographs. The lacquer panels remain attractive, the lid opens and closes with the desirable Dupont 'ping', and the lighter will require a replacement flint and refill before use. Supplied without fuel in accordance with shipping regulations.
