A vintage Sadler Staffordshire ceramic teapot from the Championship series, titled A Day at the Races. Produced in the late 20th century, the piece features racing scenes around the body with bright enamel colours typical of this line. The lid is modelled as a stylised racecourse building with a clock tower finial, finished with gilt highlights. The base is marked Sadler with the championship trophy motif and registered design number 2019292.
The teapot has a square form with shaped rim and measures approximately 20cm across at its widest point. A colourful display item from a well-known Sadler collector’s range.
