A vintage Sadler ceramic teapot from the ‘Sporting Scenes of the 18th Century’ series, produced in Staffordshire in the late 20th century. This example is the Shooting pattern, with a transfer-printed hunting scene around the body and gilt highlights to the handle, spout and decorative bands. The domed lid is finished in turquoise enamel with gilt striping and finial. The base carries the correct Sadler mark and registered design number 2005894.

The teapot stands 17cm tall and is a straightforward, presentable example of later Sadler production. Suitable for display or light decorative use.
