A substantial vintage sterling silver pendant set with a polished marquise-shaped stone believed to be moonstone. The pale translucent stone displays an attractive blue flash as it moves through the light, together with natural internal markings that give it plenty of character.
The stone is held within a simple, substantial silver bezel setting. The bail carries a worn but identifiable 925 stamp. No separate mark was found on the main pendant mount, which has been tested and indicates high-grade silver.
The stone identification is based on its appearance and the information accompanying the collection; it has not been independently tested by a gemologist.
The pendant is supplied in a vintage National Blood Service presentation box. Please note that the box is not original to the pendant.

CONDITION
Good vintage condition with noticeable surface wear, scratches, patina and tarnishing to the silver. The 925 stamp is worn but remains identifiable. The stone has natural internal inclusions and surface signs consistent with age and previous use. Please inspect the close-up photographs carefully.
The vintage presentation box has age-related marks and wear and bears a National Blood Service inscription.
We do not heavily clean vintage silver jewellery, leaving its new owner the choice of retaining the existing patina or polishing it to their preferred finish.
